Skin Beauty, an expanding e-commerce platform specializing in skincare brands, has approached me to enhance the UX and visual experience of their website. Throughout this project, we focused on enhancing navigation, ensuring consistency across all devices, and consolidating similar tasks. Additionally, we revamped the user interface to create a more cohesive and user-friendly browsing experience for their customers.
Project Goal:
The primary objective of this project was to enhance the user experience by redesigning the navigation and search features. The focus was on streamlining the user journey and improving accessibility, ensuring a more seamless and enjoyable interaction with the platform.
Design Process
1. Simplified Navigation

Moved "Sign in" next to the cart for better visibility and to reduce cognitive load. This change can enhance user engagement, as users typically expect account-related actions to be close to the shopping cart.

2. Alignment and Consistency

Moved the "Contact Us" details to improve alignment and maintain consistency in the design.

Consistency in layout contributes to a more polished and professional appearance, making it easier for users to navigate.

3. Color Contrast

Adjusted the color scheme to improve contrast, ensuring that important messages from SKIN BEAUTY are easily noticeable.
